St. Andrew’s Church,

Colney

St. Andrew’s is a small church with a big heart.

Located at the end of the Old Watton Road it often feels like a village idyll on the edge of Norwich and very close to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and the Norwich Research Park.

Our Sunday services are 1115 on the First Sunday of the month. It generally is a service of Holy Communion and has a more traditional feel.

Here are the approved minutes form our latest PCC

St Andrew’s Church, Colney

Minutes of the Extraordinary PCC Meeting

7 June 2026 at St Andrew’s Colney at 11am

Present: Graham Wilkins (Rector), Fiona Gibbons (Secretary), Ray Kenny

(Treasurer), Hazel Martin.

The Treasurer (Ray Kenny) called the extraordinary meeting in light of the recent

electrical issues at St Andrew’s, Colney. It was reported that with the Rector’s

upcoming sabbatical, the PCC would be down a financial signatory for payments.

Given the likelihood that we will need to pay for works related to the electrical

problem, a further signatory would be required so the Treasurer can authorise

payments.

The Treasurer put forward the motion that the Secretary (Fiona Gibbons) become

the third signatory for the Church. The Secretary agreed to undertake this role. This

was proposed by the Rector and seconded by Hazel Martin.

The meeting closed at 11.05am.
